Huvsgul Lake- UlanBator 8D/7N
Khuvsgul Lake National Park is one of the major tourist attractions in Mongolia. This lake is known as the second clearest water lake in the world after Baikal Lake in Russia. Water is crystal clear so that you can see the bottom of the lake when you are sailing. Khuvsgul lake is surrounded by majestic mountains covered with thick pine and larch forests where the unique wildlife of the region flourishes. There is an excellent opportunity to become acquainted with the lifestyle and traditions of reindeer breeders who live in the mountain forests close to the lake. The Lake is ideal for kayaking, boating, fishing, horseback riding, trekking, birding, camping, wildlife viewing, and photography.
Day 1: – UlanBator
Arrive in Ulanbator at 20:10 , guide will pick you up from airport and bring you to the hotel . After that will have dinner at hotel. (D)
Day 2: – UlanBator
After breakfast visit Gandan – the largest Buddhist monastery in UB ,then). Lunch at hotel . Visit to Zaisan Hill – War Memorial Statue ,you can view hole city ,next we visit Bogd Khan Palace Museum . Genghis Khan Square & Parliament House, in the evening at 18 clock see Traditional performance. Back to hotel and having a dinner. (B.L.D )
Day3: Hatgal/ Khuvsgul province
After breakfast move to airport fly to Murun town. Drive to Huvsgul lake 110 km , check in ger camp , free time . Dinner at ger camp restaurant . (B.L.D )
Day 4 : Hatgal/ Khuvsgul province
After breakfast ride a horse towards to north forest trough high mountains .On the way explore the beauty of the lake and breathtaking hues of the sunrise . Lunch take away box from camp restaurant . Dinner at camp restaurant . Free time, hiking and photo sessions along the lake shore . (B.L.D )
Day 5: Tsaatan / Khuvsgul province
After breakfast ride a horse visit to the Tsaatan minority reindeer breeders, live in this region. This ethnic people lives in isolated area only can reach by horse .
Shamanism worship of nature is the main religion of the reindeer breeders. (B.L.D )
Day 6: Khuvsgul lake / Khuvsgul province
After breakfast take boat cross across the lake , take a horse ridding along lake trough the forests where the unique wildlife of the region . In the evening have dinner with horse ridding group at the camp. Stay overnight at ger camp. (B.L.D )
Day 7: Ulanbator
After breakfast drive to Murun city , take flight to UB city . Check in to the hotel. Visit to Zaisan Hill – War Memorial Statue ,you can view hole city ,next we visit Bogd Khan Palace Museum, Gobi cashmere factory shop. Genghis Khan Square & Parliament House, in the evening at 18 clock see Traditional performance “ Tumen Eh “. Back to hotel and having a dinner. (B.L.D )
Day 8: Ulanbator
After breakfast depart to airport .
